The cardiac ‘Cuse are back! Following two blowout wins over Boston College and Wake Forest the Syracuse Orange went down to the wire for a hard-fought 64-62 road win over the 20th ranked Duke Blue Devils at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Syracuse pulled the potentially season-saving game out using efficient three-point shooting (11-23) and balanced scoring as four different players totaled 14 points for the Orange. That along with Tyler Roberson’s monster 20-rebound night should be dominating the conversation, but it’s hard not to notice Coach K blowing off half of the Syracuse team when walking through the postgame handshake-line.

To be fair, Coach K may have had more to say to the officials following a couple questionable no calls at the end of the game. Still, it’s not a great look for Duke especially given his and Jimmy B’s involvement in USA Basketball together.
If you ask me, the refs rightfully did not call a foul when a Syracuse and Duke player collided going for the ball after Grayson Allen’s missed layup attempt. The last play of the game however, should have been a foul on Syracuse before the shot and Blue Devils’ ball out of bounds with about two seconds left at halfcourt. Just my opinion.
Monday night’s victory is the third in a row for Jim Boeheim’s squad (13-7) while Mike Krzyzewski’s team (14-5) is on the exact opposite trajectory, dropping its third straight contest. It showed after the game too.
Do you think Coach K meant to snub Syracuse or just got caught up in after-game emotions?
