Buffalo Bills Path to Playoffs and Rooting Interests

The Buffalo Bills (8-6) have an opportunity to improve their record to 9-6 and move closer to an AFC wildcard playoff berth when they visit the Oakland Raiders at the Coliseum this Sunday. Explosive running back C.J. Spiller also returns for Buffalo adding an extra dynamic into this week 16 match up.

In the midst of a 14-year playoff drought,  this is a unique situation the Bills and their fans find themselves in. Below is the six teams hunting for three postseason spots and their remaining schedule.It is going to take a lot of shaking and moving and some luck, but the Bills do have a legitimate shot of ending the drought in 2014.

There are multiple scenarios that could extend Buffalo’s season, but take a look below at two different ways the Bills can sneak into the playoffs:
